Points of Pride

Instructional Focus:
As the end of the year starts to creep into view, please continue to let our students know that there is still learning to be done. During this time of year, student misbehavior tends to increase. Keep your routines as much as possible, allow for some student autonomy, keep students engaged, and consistently remind them of the rules/expectations for behavior.
On a side note, as teachers we tend to "wait until next year" with new ideas we want to try. If you want to try out something new, try it at the end of the year. This year's students will love trying something new, and you can "get the kinks out" before next year. Remember that failure is essential in the learning process, so don't be afraid to "fail forward."

Central Christian Mobilize Project....
The SPE group went ABOVE and BEYOND, they donated over $500 of materials, secured a donation of a Bobcat to lay our 33 tons of rock, scrubbed our classrooms, planted trees, painted our basketball courts, etc.
In addition, the church is making a donation to our PTSO and were able to secure a gift for each staff member (this should be here by the end of the week).
If you are able to make a class thank you card, I would really appreciate it.
