Adamson Children's House
Weekly Newsletter - January 25 - Ms. Dana & Ms. Terry
Dear Families,
Hope you are all keeping warm and enjoying the snow! I am putting off the big dig-out until noon!
We've had a busy couple of weeks! Our new students have transitioned very well into the Children's House and we are really humming along now!
Some of the new multi-step activities I have introduced such as orange juice and banana preparation remain very popular although they require a lot of work. One child who doesn't care for juice himself decided to make a cup for a new friend who loves it!
Look for the snack calendar for February; I will backpack it home on Wednesday. Also around the corner is a fun event, the spaghetti dinner, which will be held on Friday, February 5th.
John O. counts out spindles to match to the corresponding number.
Natalie traces the sandpaper numerals with her finger and then practices writing the numbers in sand.
Ethan observes as Liam works with the sink & float materials.
John C. juices an orange to make his own snack.
Lucy uses a funnel to pour water from a pitcher into a vase.
Madison shows the picture she drew of herself and Liam for his birthday.
