SENIOR PARADE
All graduating members of the RWHS Class of 2022 are invited to be honored at the SENIOR PARADE on June 2nd at 5:00pm at RWHS. We encourage you to invite your family and friends to attend and show their support for you. Start planning your ride and making your signs and stay tuned for details!
Parade Details:
Seniors will start lining up in a location near the high school in their cars at 4:30pm on June 2rd; at the stop sign by Prairie Island Ice Arena Seniors will drive around the school, and teachers and other staff members and family will be there to congratulate them.
Parade participants enter the ground off of Flower Valley Road and loop Guernsey lane and staff will help you stage.
Spectators can park in the school parking lot and enter the grounds off of Flower Valley and drive straight into the lot.
Now, here is where we need your help! The local radio station has agreed to put together a program for everyone to listen to while driving along the parade route. We need the senior class and staff members to send audio recordings of special messages for this radio program. These audio recordings must be sent to the radio station by Monday, May 30th, at the very latest. Please send them as soon as possible, though. Here is the email address:
For the audio message, please say your first and last name. After that, say a special message that lasts about 10 seconds - 1 minute. Some possible things you could say include:
-well-wishes to the entire class of 2022
-advice for the class of 2023
-favorite quote (said by a senior class member, teacher, famous person, etc.)
-favorite school memory
Those are just some ideas; use your own unique thoughts to make this meaningful for the seniors! When recording your message, please try to keep in mind this will be broadcast for the entire radio audience to hear. Obviously, the message needs to be appropriate for a public audience. Also, try to say messages that the entire senior class can relate to and appreciate; the seniors have all worked hard, and we want everyone to enjoy these messages.
You can do these audio recordings on your phone or any technology device. Again, remember to say your name and keep the message around 10 seconds - 1 minute. Also, please email the recording to the radio station at the very latest by Monday, May 30th. (Do NOT email the recordings to me.) Again, here is the email address. alarue@q-mediagroup.com
Spread the word about this cool opportunity; encourage the senior class and staff members to send in audio recordings for this radio program!
Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions about the radio program.
