Notes from Dr. Sullivan

Parent-Teacher Conferences - We look forward to visiting with everyone next week during Parent-Teacher Conferences. You can stop by the Book Fair and check out our Lost and Found items.

Halloween Costume Guidelines - Students will be allowed to bring costumes for the Halloween parties and the costume parade on October 29th. As you are thinking about costumes please follow these guidelines.

  • Costumes should be age appropriate, no weapons, no fake blood. Questions about costumes may be directed to Dr. Sullivan before the parties. On the day of the parade, questionable costumes will be sent to the office and phone calls made home.

  • No face makeup will be used for the school parade. It is uncomfortable and disruptive to wear all day. Students will not be allowed to put on face paint or hairspray at school.

  • We do not have enough restroom space for all students to change into their costume in the privacy of a restroom. Students should be able to put their costume on in their classrooms.

Neihardt's Ticket Drawing

Some of last week's lucky ticket drawing winners!! This month was giant squsihmallows. Students earn tickets from staff members throughout the day for following expectations and The Knight's Code - Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Kind. The tickets are then entered into grade level buckets for the ticket drawing. Way to go!!!
