CORONAVIRUS UPDATES
In light of the concern surrounding the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) health crisis and the District's mission of student and staff safety as its top priority, we will continue to share information and updates with our Strongsville City Schools community.
Click HERE for the page on our District’s website (www.strongnet.org) which we will continue to update with important communication. The page includes a link to ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ and additional important resources from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
The most important thing is for our students and families to stay healthy. Please follow the guidelines from local health agencies, including washing hands with soap and water regularly, keeping hands away from your face, staying away from crowded places, and by not visiting those who are more susceptible to the virus. All of us in the Strongsville City School District care deeply about our families and community and want everyone to remain healthy. Thank you!
EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS DURING EXTENDED BREAK
During this extended break, our District is providing educational suggestions to our students and families. All teachers will be sending communication to their students and/or parents, outlining these educational suggestions via their website, Google Classroom, Unified Classroom, or email. There will not be any mandatory work assigned during this break. HERE is a link to a list of additional online resources.

STRONGSVILLE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC BOOSTERS FUNDRAISER FOR NEW BAND UNIFORMS
Currently, the Strongsville Instrumental Music Boosters are in the final push to raise funds to purchase new SHS Marching Mustangs uniforms for the 2020-2021 school year. Currently, the uniforms for our band members are 16 years old (normal uniform life span is 10-12 years). Through fundraising efforts and the contributions of the district uniform fund, over 70% of the $100,000 goal has been reached, but additional help is needed to make the new uniforms happen. Please consider supporting the SIMB uniform fund! SIMB is also holding an adult night out to raise funds for the uniforms. Information about the wing ding, as well as information about incentives for your uniform fund gifts, can be found by visiting https://simb.membershiptoolkit.com/packet/12639508
or visit www.strongnet.org/simb.
