The symptoms of Anthrax include fever and chills, swelling of the neck or neck glands, sore throat, painful swallowing, hoarseness, nausea and vomiting. Anthrax is caused by an organism called Bacillus Anthracis. It can be found in cattle or other hoofed mammals.
Anthrax spores get lodged in the lungs when you are infected. They lie dormant but when inhaled they reactivate. They can be ingested and you can get sick from it coming in contact with skin lesion. The bacteria that causes anthrax has a property that makes it exceptionally dangerous.
