News & Announcements

  • This week we welcomed some new faces to our school community. Ms. Soper is filling in for Ms. Chmura while she's out on maternity leave (no baby yet!). Ms. Canaday is filling in in 5th grade while Ms. Norwood recovers from her knee surgery (she's gaining every day). And Mr. Green has joined us as our new music teacher. We are excited to have all these folks with us.
  • As many of you already know, today was Ms. Steward's last day with us. She has taken a position in the Sunderland district. We wish her all the best as she sets off on this new adventure. Ms. Steward, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to our school community. I hope to be able to announce her replacement next week.
  • Please remember to update your child's vaccination information with Nurse Viney. If your child has received the Covid vaccine, please make sure you get the documentation to her office as soon as possible. It's important that she have that information as protocols are different for close contacts and testing for those who are fully vaccinated and those who are not.
  • If you have not yet done so, please take two minutes to complete this very brief survey about our Service Learning initiative so we can serve our community better. This survey is open to anyone with an interest in what we're doing (family members, staff, community members, etc.). Thank you!

Hello From Mr. Green

Hello Colrain!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mr. Green, and I will be taking over the music classes from Mrs. Fitzgerald. Although change can be challenging, especially in the middle of the year, I am very excited to be joining the family here. I am confident that the students and I will be forgiving of each other as we make this transition. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to sharing my unique musical experiences and perspective with the community here, and know we have much to look forward to in the new year.

Yours in harmony,

Mr. Green
