Tips for parents
We know this is a difficult time to be a parent. Certainly, there is no manual for how to talk to our children about COVID-19. Please know you are not alone. We are here to help you navigate. (Continue reading this message from our Elementary School Counselors.)

Ohio's primary election - now by absentee voting only. Request your ballot ASAP
In-person voting in the March 17 Ohio primary was cancelled only hours before the polls were to open, but registered voters can still make their voices heard in this election through absentee voting. Absentee ballots must be requested and may take as long as two weeks to arrive in the mail. The ballot must be returned (postmarked) by April 27, so make sure to request yours today:
- If you have a printer, print out an absentee ballot application form (available in both English and Spanish): https://tinyurl.com/qnek4of.
- If you can not print the form, call your county board of elections and request the application:
Hamilton County: (513) 632-7000
Clermont County: (513) 732-7275
Warren County: (513) 695-1358
- On the application form, you will indicate your wish to have a political party ballot or an “issues only” ballot. For date of the primary election, write “March 17, 2020,” which is still the official date.
- Once filled out, mail the application to your county board of elections. (Find the address of yours in this county board of elections directory: https://tinyurl.com/yycf8t8s.)
- When you receive your absentee ballot in the mail, fill it out and mail it back to your county board of elections.
If you already voted, you need to do nothing else. Your vote will count.
