EMS Band February Concert
The concert will be held in the East Middle School Gymnasium:
- This date is a change from the original date due to a scheduling conflict.
- This time doesn't include call-time for performers (see below for that information)

February Concert Overview
Event Details
We will have our winter concert on Thursday, February 23rd! Please read the following information pertaining to the concert. We are excited to be able to share all of the student's hard work!
5:45pm - All Students arrive at EMS, move to their assigned locations to warm-up individually and as a group
6:00pm - 7th Grade Group Sound Check/Warm-Up
6:15pm - 8th Grade Group Sound Check/Warm-Up (with Orchestra)
6:30pm - Concert Begins
7th Grade Band Plays
EMS Jazz Plays
8th Grade Band Plays (Featuring EMS 8th Grade Orchestra)
Students will remain in their ensemble for the entire concert to support their other grade level band members!
7:30pm * Concert End - Students Help Pack Equipment and Depart after!
(this is approximate and subject to change depending on the length of each performance)
Concert Black Attire
Students must wear one of the following options for their concert attire:
Option 1 - Solid Black Dress with Solid Black dress shoes
Option 2 - Black Dress Shirt, Black Dress Pants, and Black Dress Shoes with black dress socks.

7th Grade Full Band Rehearsals
Overview
7th Grade Band will rehearse as a full group during their Friday "Clubs" time in the weeks leading up to the concert. More information about this will be shared with students in class.
8th Grade Band/Orchestra Joint Rehearsal
8th Grade will rehearse as a full group with the Orchestra during their Friday "Clubs" time in the weeks leading up to the concert. More information about this will be shared with students in class. This will start on Friday, February 3rd.
