CB Health and Safety Plan- Update!
Thank You Jill Walton!
Dear Jill,
On behalf of Linden Elementary School faculty, students, and parents, I want to thank you for your tireless dedication to our school community. No request has been too large or small, that was not made possible under your leadership as our Home & School President. Through my lens, you have always been available to consider a last minute āHey , Iād like to make this happenā phone call. You embody the essence of doing whatever needs to be done to cultivate a strong home and school partnership which has always served our very purpose for being here well - the kids!
Thank you for your vast contributions.
Mike Testani

Dolls are Us Competition ends Monday, May 17th
Students will be having or have had a lesson in their classroom entitled Dolls are Us. This lesson provides an opportunity for students to explore their own identity and the physical characteristics that make each person unique, learn about some of the new diverse representation of dolls, reflect on their own experiences with dolls and propose a new doll by making one and write a persuasive letter to a toy company.
Linden Competition Time! Please submit a photo of your doll and a short letter to a toy company explaining why they should sell your doll. Your doll and letter should be side by side on one photo. Your doll can be a drawn picture, or you can make a 3D version. There will be prizes! You can submit your photo here.
If you have any questions, please email Dr. Graziosi-Hibbs, our Student Support Counselor, at sgraziosihibbs@cbsd.org.

Seasonal Allergies
If your child is prone to seasonal allergies, NOW is the time to start their allergy medication. Many of the symptoms of allergies are the same as symptoms of COVID (cough, sore throat, runny nose, congestion, headache).
Unfortunately, we cannot tell the difference so we would need to follow the Health and Safety Plan and send your child home to be tested for COVID if they developed these symptoms.

Modified Quarantine...What does that mean?
As the school board approved the revisions to our health and safety plans, we will not follow the modified quarantine, as communicated by CBSD last week. Below is an infographic with more information regarding modified quarantine. If you should have any questions regarding the health of your child, please reach out to our school nurses. We appreciate your support as we continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for all.
Student Absences
In-Person Absences: Students will be marked absent if they are not in school that day. If the student should be physically present but is participating virtually due to COVID related concerns, the teacher will mark the attendance as "Participating Virtually". This will give the student credit for attendance.
Online Absences: If a student does not attend class, the student will be marked absent until we receive the communication from parents. Note: If a student logs-in initially, but leaves the call or does not engage, the comment "Virtually Cut" will be added to the comments section.
Appointments: If a student has to leave for an appointment, please email their teacher and 'cc Cyndi Faville as well.
Please contact Cindy Faville in the Linden Main office at 267-893-4402 or email at cfaville@cbsd.org with any questions.
Family Travel
If your child(ren) will be traveling now until the end of the school year, please complete a Request for Approved Absence Form.
Any questions about this procedure can be directed to Cindy Faville in the Linden Office, at cfaville@cbsd.org.

Mamma Mia will be performed on Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22 at 7:30PM in front of the East main entrance. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Think of it as a rock concert with lawn seats only! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at: www.purplepass.com/mammamia2021 We are capping ticket sales at 200 for each performance. In the event of inclement weather, we will hold the performances indoors again. Seats will be taped off to guarantee social distancing. A few days before the performances, if the weather looks like it is going to cooperate, we will be promoting the show with additional ticket sales at the door (cash or check only) to hopefully bring in a larger audience for our cast and crew. All parking will be in the student parking lot or over at Holicong as our performance will be at the front of the building. Please keep in mind that all audience members will be required to wear a mask at all times while on the East campus. All tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are non-transferable to another night if we end up with one show outdoors and one indoors. All seating is general admission. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have. Thank you for supporting the arts in Central Bucks! Have a great week and keep your fingers crossed for beautiful weather on the 21st and 22nd!
