As the Tri-Chair of the New York State Teacher Center Leadership Team, Marguerite Dimgba, planned and facilitated the NYS Spring Symposium in Albany on March 8-9, 2022. The programs offered were innovative and insightful. Participants were engaged in learning about topics such as The Butterfly Effect: discussing the school and community climate as an essential component of a student's social, emotional, and academic success. As well as taking an Equity Challenge and brainstorming ways in which this may be shared statewide. Participants agreed the experience and collaboration required to lead this symposium was truly outstanding.
