Inspire Awards for Teachers!
The Inspire Award allows the School Board and community to regularly and publicly celebrate the impact that RCPS teachers make each day, whether on a particular child or class, or by encouraging a future teacher.
A teacher may be recognized once during a school year and submissions must be received ten days prior to a board meeting. The person making the nomination will be invited to share his/her nomination essay of up to 200 words with the school board, and will make the presentation of a certificate to the honored teacher.
Parent Survey - We'd love your help!
RCPS is asking for parent feedback related to the future of schools, technology and education. The Speak Up Research Project for Digital Learning, a national initiative of Project Tomorrow, is both a national research project and a free service to schools and districts everywhere. Since fall 2003, Speak Up has helped education leaders include the voices of their stakeholders in annual and long-term planning. More than 5 million participants have made Speak Up the largest collection of authentic, unfiltered stakeholder input on education, technology, schools of the future, science and math instruction, professional development and career exploration. National-level reports inform policymakers at all levels.
Please go to the following link: https://speakup.rockingham.k12.va.us/ and select the group you belong to (Student, Family, etc) in order to complete the survey. The survey should take roughly 20 minutes to complete. We thank you for your time and feedback!
