· Please bring books back to school every day.

March Math Madness!
***We will be checking facts solved beginning TODAY. Everyone has a fresh start! Our first basketballs will be handed out next Friday.
Field Trip-March 18th
First grade will visit Elm Fork Education Center at the University of North Texas in Denton on Wednesday, March 18th. We will dress in our Carroll Dragon Games shirt, comfortable pants, outerwear appropriate for the weather, and tennis shoes that do not light up. Please bring a sack lunch with a drink labeled with your child’s name. Make sure all items can be thrown away. We will load buses about 8:30 a.m. and return about 2:00 p.m.

Snap Words- our, know, school
Spelling Homework: Write 10 complete sentences using one word in each sentence from the weekly spelling list. Snap words may be used as well. Highlight or underline the spelling list word in each sentence. Spelling homework is due each Thursday. Spelling paper is available below.

Important Information and Reminders
-Spirit Shop is open every other Friday from 10:00-1:00 during the second semester.
-Dragon Pride: Please remember to send to your child's teacher. If you would like their service picture in the Dragon Pride assembly slideshow, send the picture to Mrs. Havener also. Your teacher records the points and Mrs. Havener does the assembly slide show. Mrs. Havener's email: Kami.Havener@southlakecarroll.edu
-Birthday Treats can't have nuts or be processed in the same facilities as nut products. They must be store bought with an ingredients label. You can buy treats from the cafe with one week notice. You can email our Cafeteria Manager at: RYAN.CARR@southlakecarroll.edu
-You may send a water bottle (pop tops only) and a snack with your child each day. No nut products in the classroom. Healthy snacks only that do not require a spoon/fork;
-If someone other than parents brings lunch for your child you must notify your child's teacher.
-Please check your child's lunch account funds regularly.
-Wear athletic shoes on P.E. days.
-Please call the office for transportation changes. Please do not send a change through email if the change is happening that day. It may not be seen in time or there could be a sub.
-If your child is riding the bus home and a Alternate Transportation Form is needed, it MUST be completed by noon.
-Please contact the office if your child is absent.
-If any contact information changes, please update Skyward and tell your child's teacher.
