2018 Year-End Review
Bureau of Youth & Adolescent Health
"As we look forward to the New Year, let's resolve to recommit ourselves to the values we share."
-Barack Obama, POTUS 44
Happy New Year from our Bureau Chief!
As we approach the 5th year anniversary of My Brother’s Keeper and reflect on the work on the ground in the city of Houston, we couldn’t be more elated to have partners, like YOU, that have stayed at our collective impact table since we accepted President Obama’s challenge and have been instrumental in assisting us implement the cradle-to-career strategies across all six MBK milestones. We remain true to our MBK Houston Local Action plan and though we have summit many mountains, there are so many more to climb, and we can’t continue this momentum without your unequivocal support. At MBK Houston, we are the backbone organization that helps to bring the many points of light into a constellation of hope for our city’s most vulnerable young people, families, and communities. Together, we will build a city of champions, predicated on the notion that every young person will become a viable taxpayer that enjoys the vibrancy of our city’s robust economy, diversity, and opportunities.
Happy New Year...the best is yet to come!
Warm Regards,
Noel A. Pinnock
