Vikings of the Month
We are starting a new way to recognize our students at BRV. Each month we will recognize the Vikings of the Month. These students will be recognized in our newsletter, displayed in the cafeteria, and have a special lunch. Congratulations to our 1st Vikings of the Month! Thank you for making a difference at BRV.
The January Vikings of the Month are:
- Cassie Canary has been nominated by Mrs. Robinson. Cassie always has a smile on her face when she enters the classroom. As a teacher, I can always count on Cassie to be willing to help with any task and she is always there to help her classmates with whatever they need. Her kindness and respect for others are two qualities that shine through each and every day.
- Chandler Veyon was nominated by Mrs. Walradth for the Student of Month. He is always very kind to his classmates. Following rules is very important to him and he asks very good questions. He is constantly giving his best effort here at school. I am very proud of him!
- Nancy Bryant has been nominated by Ms. Modjeski. Nancy does a great job setting a good example for her classmates to follow. Nancy is very helpful and kind to her friends. She also always has a smile on her face! Great job Nancy!
- Paisley Adams has been nominated by Miss Ison. Paisley does a great job of listening and working hard in class. Paisley is always willing to help with tasks around the classroom. When Paisley is finished with her work she will even offer to help others with their work. Paisley is always kind to her classmates and has a positive attitude.
- Mrs. Burns has nominated Roman McNelis. Roman has been doing a great job in the classroom. He is doing his personal best and trying very hard to do the right thing. Roman has made some huge progress this year and we are all so proud of him.
- Eli Coffin was nominated by Mrs. Stultz for student of the month. Eli is often caught doing the right thing. He is a good example of how to stand in line and walk quietly. I can always count on him to show me he is ready to go in the hallway.
- Nicole Shaffer has been nominated by Mr. Holly. She has done an outstanding job this year in fourth grade both academically and socially. She has worked hard to improve her grades and raised her hand more during class time to participate. She is also always on task, following directions, and quiet when I am teaching. Nicole is a very kind student to everyone in the class. She is always willing to help out a friend in need or a teacher with a task. Great job Nicole! Keep it up.
- Robert Martin was nominated for Viking of the Month by Mrs. McDonald. Robert listens and follows directions. He asks and answers questions. He is also a good partner during projects.
- The fifth grade teachers would like to nominate Paeytn Nash as Viking of the Month. Paeytn has a sweet, caring, loving, kind hard-working, and positive personality. Everyday she greets her teachers and classmates with a big smile and a sincere hello! Throughout the day she focuses on her work and encourages other students to always do their best. She meets challenges head-on and strives to succeed in whatever she does. Every dismissal she hugs her teacher good-bye and tells her classmates to have a good evening. Within a few minutes of meeting her you would know why we chose Paetyn as a Viking of the Month!
- Mr. Carter would like to recommend Desmond Case for Viking of the Month. Desmond has been an incredibly hard worker and positive force in band class. He has gone above and beyond by seeking out resources outside of school to improve his percussion skills as well as recruiting two additional students to join band by showing them how to play snare drum.
- Mallory Goble was nominated by Mrs. Creviston and Mrs. Rosenbaum as Viking of the Month. Mallory is kind to others, taking time to truly listen when others speak to her. She is creative and hardworking, always striving to do her best.
