The Weekly Hoot

Greetings All -

What a great first week back it has been! I see refreshed faces and a new sense of vitality in all of us. New years are a great time to make improvements, and it seems like so many of us are trying to do that personally as well as professionally.

I know I said last week that the construction trailer was going to be put in this week, but it looks like it will be this coming week. I will be getting information to you as I get it, but on the day that it is moving in, we will be utilizing the open area behind the American Legion Hall for recess. The baseball field will be "off limits" now due to the coaches needing to get it "game ready" for the spring.

I am so excited to see so many of you putting into practice guided reading groups into your lesson plans and instruction this past week! I am amazed by your concentrated efforts to meet the students at their level in order to see advancement academically. I am also impressed with the "station work" I see going on in math classes as well. I feel like we are truly meeting the needs of our students, and I am excited about that.

I looked at the weather app on my phone and it is showing tomorrow to be BEAUTIFUL! I hope all of you have a great weekend in the sunshine and come back on Monday well-rested and energized.

Thanks for all you do every day! I appreciate it greatly!

Let's make it a great week!

Marcy :)
