Marsiglio De Padua
Padua was an Italian scholar that was trained in medical sciences (of that time). He was also a well known political figure. His political genius really showed when he came up with ingenious theories on what to do (politically) during the turmoil stages of the Holy Roman Empire. This lead to him getting a reputation for himself and becoming well known throughout the territories of the Holy Roman Empire. He also created a context of power struggle between Pope John the 12th and Louis of Bavaria. This also helped his political figure.
