MAP assessments will take place on:

Tuesday May 24th MATH

Thursday May 26th READING

The following are great websites to practice all kinds of skills. Students click on their RIT score and above to practice.

Students will demonstrate a process or activity of their choice in the format of a demonstration speech for the class. Students chose a topic they would like to demonstrate for the class through a step-by-step process. We then brainstormed the materials needed and the steps involved with demonstration.

Student will continue to respond to novels in the coming weeks. They are really learning to value reading and gaining great strengths as thinking readers. Each ELA weekly task gives them valuable practice with their reading skills. There is nothing more frustrating than getting ahead and losing what has been accomplished by not practicing the skills. See below the Thinking Stems activity we are using in our classroom.
