Start getting your book character costumes ready! We are having an outdoor Book Character Parade on Friday, October 29 at 8:15 for all Pre-K through Fifth Grade students. Students are encouraged to bring the book if they have it although this is not required. The front drive will be blocked off at 8:00 a.m. Bring lawn chairs and see our Bobcats show off their favorite book character costumes and books. Students will exit Door #2 and then walk in front of the school and will then enter back into the building at Door #15. Please note: no scary costumes, fake weapons or blood will be allowed.

Pre-K will have a Pumpkin Patch on Friday, October 29 after the parade in the pre-k playground. Please send $3 to your child's teacher this week to cover the cost of the pumpkins.

Please make sure your child has a reusable water bottle each day. The district has turned off all water fountains at schools. We have 3 water refill stations on campus where students can refill their water bottles.

  • Please contact Amanda Rabjohn, our attendance clerk, at rabjohna@lisd.net if your child is going to be absent from school. You can also contact her at 469-713-5950. If your child will be absent for a trip, family reunion etc, a Pre-Planned Absence Form should be filled out. You can request one from Mrs. Rabjohn. Please do this 1-2 weeks in advance of a planned absence.
