Hello Coyote Families,

A quick update with two fun items for you as we wrap-up our first full week of learning. I am humbled by the efforts of each member of our school community--staff, students and parents. We are meeting this challenge and rising above it because of hard work, grit, grace and some laughter.

Are you up for the Bear Mountain Challenge? In past years, our 6th graders made the climb and this year, let's see how many staff, students and parents can reach the top! Between now and October 1st--show your Coyote pride by climbing Bear Mountain and submitting a selfie or picture from the top to We hope to have a great collection of pictures to share, some challenges along the way (can we have more staff members climb than students...), spirit wear giveaways and more. Let's get out there! And if you can't climb--no worries! Cheer others on by liking the pictures on our Facebook page or consider donating a prize to encourage our community. Go Coyotes!!

Our 2019-2020 Yearbooks have arrived and starting Monday, are ready to be picked up at MLMS! Please stop by from 7:30am to 3:15pm Monday through Friday and we will hand you your book when you arrive. If you pre-purchased your yearbook, they are set aside and waiting for you! If you would like to purchase a yearbook, they are for sale for $25.00 cash or check made out to MLMS—and are first come, first serve starting on Monday. We have about 90 extra books for sale and are not able to set books aside or take payments over the phone.

Thank you for choosing MLMS and for the opportunity to teach your children.
