The Tiger in You...October 9, 2017
This past week Tiger admin analyzed grades, discipline incidents, and attendance data from the first six data, and we were quite impressed on the behavioral and academic growth we made in several areas. Though we are ecstatic about our accomplishments, we will continue to strive to be better than we were yesterday.
When you evaluate data on Monday, it is important for you to examine the students who were successful and those who were unsuccessful, and explore instructional practices to enhance their learning. I have no doubt that our students want to succeed, but some have not learned to be gritty and press through challenging situations. Educationally, we have an opportunity daily to model metacognitive skills to empower students to achieve. Thus, no matter how pleased we are about our progress, there is always room to grow.
The Tiger in you must always be willing to do what is best for all students and continue to roar!
