New Drop - Off Procedure

Please Read!

To better support our students getting out of their vehicles and allow staff to park in spots in front of the building, we are asking parents to line up and drop off from the inside lane closest to the median starting November 2nd. We will block the outer lane!
You will still pull all the way up to the end of the school building.

Students will exit the car, from the right side of their vehicle, and walk towards the front door. This allows more room for the students to walk and cars to continue to flow for traffic.

*IF cars are lined up to enter the school lot, you must go down the gravel driveway so we do not pile out onto Carolina Beach Rd!*

Please help keep the flow of traffic moving!

Please remember 8:15 is considered tardy. You will need to park and walk your student in to sign them in at the front office.

We continue to require them - please help!

We have had a large number of students that need the school to supply them a mask each day!

Please send your student with a mask and a back up mask in their book bag.

We went through over 50 masks this week alone!

Masks are still a requirement at this time and we appreciate your support with this matter!

Thankful Thursdays

Starting in November

Let's have students share with the staff what they are thankful for.
Students are encouraged to write thank you notes to a staff member each Thursday during the month of November!
Let's be thankful for our wonderful community at IMS!

COVID Updates

Cold and Flu Season

While we continue to monitor our COVID exposures and positivity, we also are beginning to see head colds, strep, and other seasonal illnesses.

We continue our efforts to keep students with masks on, wiping down tables throughout the day, eating outside as much as possible and utilizing our electrostatic sprayer.

Please continue to air on the side of caution. If your child is symptomatic, keep them home.

Let them rest and feel better. Their best work and concentration is when they are feeling at their best.

We appreciate your continued support and caution in these matters.

Please continue to reach out with questions.
