Australia is the 6th largest country in the world. It is the only country that occupies a complete continent. One third of its land is a desert, another third is of poor quality land. The final third is full of fertile farm land, they're divided by a long chain of mountains called the Great Dividing Range. Along the coast of Australia is the Great Barrier Reef. It is mainly known for its wide variety of animals. They have many species such as: koala, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, wombat, platypus, emu, etc.

Australians follow North Americans and European fashion trends. Businessmen wear suits; in hot weather and tropical regions, open-neck short sleeved shirts are worn. Women in the workplace wear pant suits or blouses and skirts. Young employees wear jeans. Many people wear hats and sunglasses.

Religions of Australia

many people of the religious group are Christian some other parts of the religious groups are: Islamic, Buddist, Toasim, and Hindu.


Australian foods are a mix of European and Asian foods. Some of the popular dishes are steak, roast lamb/lamb shops, sausages, french fries, seafood, pasta, and meat pies.
