Welcome to new staff members, Claire Straub (2nd grade, Track 4) and Lisa Gainey (3rd Grade, Track 4).
Lots of information sent out to parents this week. Be sure to review the Sunday Message.

News From the Media Center
The students have begun to check their own books in and it has been going great! I just wanted to review the process since it's for teachers too! :-)
1 - The black Lenovo laptop is the designated Check In computer (check in procedures are taped to the table beside the computer)
2 - All you do is scan the barcode and check to be sure your item shows on the screen (computer should always be ready for you to scan!!)
3 - Turn around and place books on yellow cart (RRR is on top back, all others are labeled Non-fiction on top, Fiction on middle, easy on bottom)
If computer is closed after I am gone for the day, just open top and it should still be ready for you to scan books. Please close cover when you are done. If it's first thing in the morning before 8:15am, please wait, because computer is shut off by the county each night and I need to get logged in.
