From the Mustang Admin Team
Happy New Year! Please take a moment to review the important information below. One item to highlight is that we will continue to use our Virtual learning schedule until we make the transition to Hybrid. We have also outlined the Class tour dates in an effort to ensure all students are acclimated to the building upon the transition to Hybrid learning. We look forward to seeing our Mustangs as soon as the health metrics allow for it. We miss our Mustangs more than anything!

FCCPS’ Friday Final Lookahead
Outlooks are based on the FCCPS Health Metrics Dashboard and Thresholds
COHORT 3: Secondary/Grades 6-12
Current Week: Virtual
Outlook: With the Regional Composite Data continuing to remain at the RED or Highest Risk level, and the remaining Key Indicators in the ORANGE and RED range for the past 7 days -
Cohort 3 will remain in Virtual next week.
ABOUT THE LOOKAHEAD
- Each Wednesday, we give an update on the current data, and each Friday, we will do a final weekly review of the data and make a decision for a given cohort for the following week.
- We will look at the previous 7-10 days of data (depending on the cohort metric), including the previous weekend.
- The decision to "Go No-Go" for each cohort is communicated at the end of the day Friday.

Bell Schedules
The middle and high schools will remain on the virtual bell schedule that has been in place since August.
When we meet the criteria for a hybrid return of cohort 3, we will shift to the hybrid bell schedule.
Once in hybrid, should the data suggest that we need to return to virtual learning, we will keep the hybrid schedule for instructional consistency.
Class of 2021 Tours of the New High School
We are excited to announce an opportunity for our Class of 2021 to tour the new High School. If the metrics dictate Cohort 3's (secondary students) inability to return in the hybrid format, we will have subsequent grade levels complete tours the following weeks. For example, the Class of 2022 will tour the building the week of January 18th if we are not in hybrid.
