Are you interested in joining BookQuest??
Are you looking for a great way to get your child involved with reading more books? We have decided to continue with a reading competition, Bookquest, which is open to all 4th and 5th graders. Students compete in teams against other schools in the city. The competition this year will be April 9th. The format will be determined once we know if we will be back in school at that time or still virtual. We have purchased additional copies of each book on Sora, and the Public library has several copies of each title. Normally, we have two teams for each school. This year due to circumstances if we only end up with one team, we will make it work. We will determine the number of teams based on interest.
The following video will assist your child in understanding more about the competition. There is also information to join a Google Classroom to learn more. If you have any questions please reach out to Felethia Whitfield or Brandy Grady.
