Spring is full of holidays honored by our families. The District 103 staff wishes all of its families a Happy Passover, a Joyful Holi, a Happy Easter, a Ramadan Mubarak, and a Happy Orthodox Easter.

• Holi begins Friday, March 18

• Ramadan begins Saturday, April 2

• The first night of Passover starts Friday, April 15

• Good Friday occurs on Friday, April 15

• Easter is Sunday, April 17

• Orthodox Good Friday is April 22

• Orthodox Easter is Sunday, April 24

We are fortunate to have such great diversity of cultures in our community so we can celebrate with our friends and neighbors!

In recognition of the fact that certain religious holidays occur during the school year, Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 hereby adheres to these procedures to ensure fair and sensitive treatment for all students. We know how important it is for us to support our students as they practice their faith. Please refer to our procedure, Homework Procedures and Religious Holidays, that the District uses to help students during their absence. The procedure is intended to alleviate students' concerns over falling behind in their studies.

The next Board of Education meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page. D103 board meetings will be held in-person and live-streamed each month on our YouTube Channel. Members of the community should attend the meeting at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire if they would like to make a public comment. The public can also contact the Board at board@d103.org.
