First View -Bus App
Lower Moreland Township School District has partnered with FirstView which is an app for parents that allows for direct access to the status of your child’s bus. FirstView GPS tracks the bus on a map and allows you to set up a customizable geo-fence around your pick-up/drop-off location, so you can be alerted when the bus is close. You can customize your notifications on the app. This is a free app for parents that can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Here are the instructions for getting started with the app: FirstView Bus App. The instruction sheet has the district code and a list of the bus routes that are needed to register. Using this app is optional. The district will continue to send Connect Ed notifications about the status of bus changes or significant delays. Please also see the document below for a quick start guide.

MINI THON Results!
At Friday's Mini-THON, Lower Moreland revealed the 2021 total of $202,337.88 for Four Diamonds and the fight against pediatric cancer.
We often say "FTK" or "for the kids" without truly depicting what our efforts provide. This money will:
- pay for cancer care and treatment not covered by insurance
- allow child life specialists to work with children to confront fears about their illness
- provide clinical psychological care
- bring art and music therapy into each child's hospital room
- fund lifesaving research to develop treatments and cures for all childhood cancers through internationally recognized research programs
...and so much more!
Our 80 captains chose to dedicate their time and have worked tirelessly toward this goal - kids helping kids. We hope you will join us in recognizing their remarkable achievement.
A sincere thank you to anyone who has helped along the way, from chaperoning or donating to simply providing words of encouragement. We are truly appreciative.

Important Reminders of Daily Health and Safety
- Maintain safe distancing at all times. Students should not congregate at any time.
- Masks need to be worn at all times and cover from the bridge of the nose to under the chin. The only exceptions are while eating or while outside at the direction of a teacher.
- Bus riders need to wear a mask at all times.
- Use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of each class, and throughout the day follow hand-washing guidelines as needed.
- Follow the directional arrows throughout the building
Attendance Protocol
All of your attendance reporting needs will be handled by one electronic form that will replace the Blue Card online form and the Yellow Card online form (used at Pine Road). This will also replace the need for a phone call to the attendance line.
Use this form to report your child’s absence. Submitting this form will both report the absence and document it. No follow up Blue card is needed.
Submit this form to sign your child into school late.
Submit this form to sign your child out for an appointment (early dismissal). This form allows you to enter a return to school time if your child will be returning to school.
Please Note:
If you are taking an extended vacation, you will still need to complete the Request for Excusal from Regular School Attendance, familiar to most families as a vacation request form. The form is found on the Virtual Backpack under Forms.
Doctors’ notes still need to be submitted to the school attendance secretary or sent into school.
