Would you like to add a new or additional world language to your district course options? Do you need to diversify your course choices but don't have the budget to take on the cost of a new staff member? Sharing courses and course costs may be the answer.

The following courses are available via blended learning (video conference and web based instruction). All courses are approved College Credit Plus through Zane State and COTC. Best of all, you don’t need to leave your high school building to participate.

What is American Sign Language?

American Sign Language (ASL) is a visually perceived, gesture-based language that is primarily in the United States and parts of Canada by more than 2 million people daily. The shape, placement, and movement of the hands, as well as facial expressions and body movements, all play important parts in conveying information.

Cost: $10,000 for 1 course section
