>>Week of November 13-17<<

Note from your Admin

Wolf Families,

It was exciting to see your students bring food donations and help stuff the bus. On Monday, our 5th-grade kindness club, counselors, and transportation drove the bus to Project 66 to deliver our donations. Thank you for your help and support. We donated 2072 pounds of food which will help feed 2587 meals for our community here in Edmond. Our 5th-grade kindness club was so excited to help and listen to how Project 66 takes in food and organizes it for people who need help. Way to go Wolves! Such a gift to pass forward.

"Off Their Rockers" 4th Grade music program was a huge success. All of your students really got into their old-person character! They worked so hard and had so much fun. We know Car Rider Plus had a little glitch that we will get fixed. Thank you for your patience and grace as we continue to improve.

The Veteran Day Cruise By is becoming one of our favorite new traditions here at Washington Irving. Thank you to all of our Veterans out there - we are so grateful for you!

Veterans Day by Cheryl Dyson

On Veterans Day we honor all,

Who answered to a service call.

Soldiers young, and soldiers old,

Fought for freedom, brave and bold.

Some have lived, while others died,

And all of them deserve our pride.

We’re proud of all the soldiers who,

Kept thinking of red, white, and blue.

They fought for us and all our rights,

They fought through many days and nights.

And though we may not know each name,

We thank ALL veterans just the same.
