salamanders live pretty much anywhere. They live in the lakes and caves of Africa, Ereope, Asia and North and South America. Just as long as its damp!


salamanders eat worms, crickets, shrimp, water snails, spiders and other insects.


salamanders can be many colors like red and black spots or blue with green stripes, etc. They feel slimy, squishy and smooth. their slimy since their amphibians, they spend some time in the water.


many salamanders do different things. some have poisonous skin and some can mimic leaves, rocks, etc.

some salamanders shed their tails to get away from prey.
