Stakeholder Survey
Baltimore County Public Schools wants as many students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members as possible to participate in its annual Stakeholder Survey. It’s a chance to tell us what we are doing well and what we could improve. The Stakeholder Survey has been extended and will now remain open until Wednesday, March 7th.
MISA Science Testing
Due to test security protocols, Woodholme will have to restrict visitation to the school while fifth graders take the Maryland Integrated Science Assessment. Grade 5 students will test on March 5, 8, 12, and 15. Please be sure your child gets to school on time each morning and gets a good breakfast.
Full color yearbooks are now on sale! Please send in $20 cash or money order to your child’s homeroom teacher by April 15, 2018. Free online ordering is also available at YBPay.lifetouch.com

Flu season is still with us:
1. Maintain hand washing and coughing/sneezing in your arm or shirt.
2. Make sure you have a plan if you are called to pick up your child from school.
3. Keep your child home an additional day after they feel better, then they may return to school.
Eat healthy, get rest, fresh air and exercise!
Please view the March calendar for information on upcoming events at Woodholme! Grade 5 students will be participating in MISA Science testing several days between March 5th-23rd! Click on the March Events link to view the calendar.
A Note From the Principal
Dear Woodholme Families,
BCPS had heard from thousands, but have they heard from you? Baltimore County Public Schools wants as many students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members as possible to participate in its annual Stakeholder Survey. It’s a chance to tell us what we are doing well and what we could improve. The Stakeholder Survey has been extended and will now remain open until Wednesday, March 7.
The survey, available on the BCPS website, is anonymous and takes five minutes or less to complete on a phone, tablet, or computer. The survey is available for students in Grades 3 - 12 (our grades 3-5 take it at Woodholme), and all parents, staff, and community members. For those other than staff, the survey is available in 16 languages: Amharic, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, English, French, Gujarati, Korean, Nepali, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, Uzbek, Vietnamese, and Yoruba. If needed, parents can choose to take the survey at their child’s school rather than at home or at a public library.
Please click on the link in the newsletter above, or below to take the BCPS Stakeholder Survey. Thanks for your time!

The survey is short, but please read each question carefully so we get an accurate account of parent feedback. We would love to have 100% parent participation in the survey, so tell us how we're doing before the survey ends! Thanks for your support!
Also, the next PTA meeting will be this Thursday, March 8th at 6:00 PM in the library. Come join the PTA and discuss what we can do to help our kids!
As we finish the final half of the school year we'd like to remind our families that we appreciate being partners with our parents, families and community. Please keep in touch with teachers and staff any time you have questions or concerns. We look forward to our continued partnership and communication with you!
Sincerely,
Principal Young
