BLACK HISTORY WAX MUSEUM AT BES
Today, in celebration of Black History Month, Aleshia Hill's 3rd graders were allowed to choose a famous African American they wanted to research and “become”.
Each student created wax figures, then pushed a red button beside their Chromebook. When the button was pushed, their famous African American “came alive” and recited a short biography.

Black History Month
The month of February is Black History Month. Even though it is coming to an end, it is important to recognize Black History as one of the most important parts of American history as a whole. With all of the discrimination and adversity African Americans have faced, their appreciation is necessary for this country.
In honor of Black History Month, a clip from the Blue's Clues Black History Month Special is attached below!
