Fourth Grade Fundraiser
It’s pizza time! Starting today - and for the next 4 weeks - we’re selling Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits to raise money so that your student and their classmates can attend Camp Michindoh in the fall of 2023. Every kit or coupon sold by your student earns $6 profit and makes an impact. All of the profits from your student’s pizza sales will be applied directly toward their camp payment. The cost of camp is approximately $200 per student, so every sale helps! It’s super easy to join the fun!

Summer School Materials Needed
You're invited!...to the Grand Opening event for our newly installed outdoor musical instruments
Sunday, June 11, 1-3 p.m.
See the flyer below for more details...especially note that Drummunity is coming for a community drumming circle on Main Street and we'll be jamming with the high school jazz band! Just as with the outdoor musical instruments, you don't need any talent or musical aptitude to enjoy this event!
Alley 221 will sport new art, the Rex Theatre will be open with popcorn, and we'll have refreshments from area eating establishments.
The project is fully funded by a bequest from Morenci native Mary Kellogg Papadopetros. She loved music, so this is an especially fitting tribute to her.

VISION STATEMENT
Nurturing and promoting growth of Respectful, Responsible, and Resilient leaders.
MISSION STATEMENT
Acknowledging that each child is an individual, Morenci Elementary School strives to provide a safe and inviting environment for all children to belong and grow into respectful, responsible, and resilient leaders in our community. Together with the support of our families, we seek to nurture the whole child, by providing exceptional academics grounded in character, creativity, and collaboration. To ensure that all children will be empowered to reach their full potential we will…
Create a safe and nurturing environment for growth by sharing our enthusiasm for learning with students and colleagues.
Inspire children to become self-directed learners who are able to celebrate diversity and perform both collaboratively and independently as students of MES and beyond.
Challenge learners to take risks and foster a life-long love of learning by exposing them to aligned and evidence-based academics, social emotional learning, and extracurricular activities.
Work together as a Bulldog staff, family, and community to nurture the whole child and develop long lasting relationships.
