Dear Families,
This week marks Educator Appreciation Week, and we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the incredible work our teachers do day in and day out.
Our educators are the heart and soul of our school community, and their tireless efforts do not go unnoticed. They work hard every day to create engaging and challenging lessons that inspire our students to learn and grow and support our student's social and emotional needs, and they do it all while also creating a joyful and fun learning environment. The genuine love that our Norfolk educators have for their profession is evident in our students every day.
In addition to expressing our gratitude to our teachers, we also wanted to acknowledge the important role parents/guardians play in a child's educational journey. As this school year draws to a close, your partnership with, and support for your child’s teacher, will ensure that your child has a successful conclusion to their school year.
As we celebrate Educator Appreciation Week, we also want to extend a thank you to the Norfolk PTO for putting together special treats for our educators. The heartfelt expressions are greatly appreciated by our educators.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere thanks to our educators for their unwavering commitment to our students and our school community.
Sincerely,
Victoria M. Saldana
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
