What is baptism?
Baptism is the religious rite of sprinkling water onto a person's forehead or of immersion in water, symbolizing purification or regeneration and admission to the Christian Church. In many denominations, baptism is performed on young children and is accompanied by name-giving.
How is Baptism helpful for Christians?
Baptism is helpful for Christians by allowing them to get closer to God and to start with a clean plate.(That means starting with no sins, but only at Baptism.)

Chrism
Chrism is a mixture of oil and balsam, consecrated and used for anointing at baptism and in other rites of Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican Churches.

Holy Water is water blessed by a priest and used in religious ceremonies.

Baptismal candles are used to show that you have been baptized and at one time that you were free of sin.
