Spring Music Concerts
Seventh and Eighth Grade Band, Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble students will be giving a joint concert on Thursday, March 23. Concert begins at 6:30 pm in the Beadle Gym. Students participating in the concert should wear their purple music polos shirt and black pants and arrive at Beadle at 6:00 pm to warm up/tune up. Everyone is welcome!

Sixth Grade Boys Intramural Basketball
Sixth Grade Boys Intramural Basketball sign up meeting is Wednesday, March 22 from 3:00 to 3:30 in room D104. Remember to bring your $25 sports participation fee to the meeting. This year’s coaches are Mr. Magee and Ms. Hagaman. See you at the meeting 6th graders!
Wildcat Wednesday
Millard West High School Coaches will be at Beadle to meet with all 6, 7 and 8 grade students who are interested in participating in these events in high school. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Little.

NSCAS Testing
Dear Parents / Guardians,
As a reminder, we will soon be completing the state test, NSCAS Growth. The Nebraska Department of Education requires testing in English Language Arts and Mathematics for students in grades 3 - 8 as well as Science in grades 5 and 8.
- 6,7,8 NSCAS-ELA: Wednesday, April 12th
- 6,7,8, NSCAS-Math: Tuesday, April 18th
- 8 NSCAS-Science: Tuesday-Friday, April 25-26.
- 6,7,8 Alternative NSCAS-AA: As schedules allow April 3-May 5
As a follow up from Fall and Winter testing, we will be administering the MAP Growth test in the spring for all students in grades K - 8 in Reading and Mathematics.
We will share the student reports for both tests when available via ParentVUE.

Try Out Mountain Biking!
The Nebraska Interscholastic Cycling League will be at Beadle Middle School on Thursday, April 27th from 3:10-4:30 p.m. for students interested in learning the basics of mountain biking and/or students interested in joining a mountain bike team! Omaha area coaches from the Millard West and Millard Composite Cycling clubs will be on site to talk about local opportunities. No experience necessary. The afternoon will include: try out mountain bike skills clinic, bike games, a prize raffle and FUN!
