Pericles
Pericles strengthened his democracy in many ways. One way Pericles strengthened his democracy was his construction of the Parthenon, and his the way he had his citizens best interests at heart. His most change was that the city has to pay a salary to it's officials, meaning the poor citizens could afford a public office. He also helped Athens become a beautiful city. These were some of the many reasons why Pericles helped strengthen Athens, and it's democracy.
Athens
Athens had made very important achievements in the arts, philosophy, literature, and their democracy, thanks to Pericles.
Pericles
Pericles truly made Athens thrive, as a member of the aristocratic family but supported the democracy, therefore becoming the leader of a democratic group. The greatest accomplishments were made by Pericles, and remains a democratic hero in our hearts for years to come.
Tribute
Tribute was given to Athens during the golden age as payments from it's allies, adding to their wealth. Athens had grown very rich despite the tribute, from trade and silver mining.
Greek Gods
The Twelve Greek Gods
Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Persephone, Apollo, Artemis, Demeter, Hephaestus, Ares, Aphrodite, Hermes, Athena, and Dionysus. Even though this is more than twelve Greek gods that I listed, but that is because it differs which ones people choose for their twelve. I find it very interesting the way people choose which gods to be their twelve, but i just name all of them i suppose.
Read if convenient, if inconvenient, read it anyways.
You know your enjoying this because your obviously reading right now you know what? Lets play a game. Or a riddle. Whatever you want to call it. Lets say that there is a girl named Mary, and at her mothers funeral, she meets the guy of her dreams. And yet, she forgot to ask for his phone number and or address, so a couple of days later she kills her sister. What happened? just to let you know i know the answer, and there is only one answer, and if your a boring ordinary person than you'll get it wrong. Have fun, you don't have to play. It's just cause I'm bored is that I wrote a paragraph this long, Just a game.

Greek Science and Philosphy
As you know, Philosophers are people who use the powers of the mind and reason to understand natural events. back in ancient Greece, people didn't have proof to their theories. This one man had a theory that everything was made of tiny particles called atoms, and more than 2,000 years later they proved his theory to bee right. So I think its more of a fact, than a theory.
Socrates
Socrates was one of ancient Greek's philosophers. Socrates wanted people to people to consider the true meanings of things like justice and courage. he used wisdom and kindness to help convince his fellow Greeks, but they didn't show kindness back. Instead they killed him by force suicide by making him drink hemlock.
Plato and Aristotle
Plato was a young student of Socrates, and Socrates death made him mistrust the democracy. So he made some of his own rules for the democracy, and then taught another young man names Aristotle, which made him his student.
Visual and dramatic Arts
The Parthenon
The Parthenon was very important in many ways. One important significance the Parthenon was that it was the religious center of the city Athens, where it was built. This brilliant building also has a statue of the goddess Athena, that rises to nearly 40 feet, as high as a 4 story building. This statue is said to be the most magnificent work in th e Parthenon. This building is truly a wonderful show of how beautiful Greek's artist talent in the arts.
The Visual Arts and How They Used Them
The Greeks used their visual and dramatic arts in many ways. One way the Greek's used their arts was their wonderful dramas. Most of the famous Greek writers wrote drama's and disastrous tragedies, adding on to the rest of their talent. they also were quite skilled with comedies. this is why I think the Greeks used their visual and dramatic in many ways.
I Enjoyed...
What I enjoy most about learning about Ancient Greece was the Greek gods. I enjoy their logic and how they all fight petty fights to show they have mortal sides too. I find the gods quite intriguing. It was very interesting topic when the brought up the Trojan horse, a very brilliant plan and I shall applaud the psychopathic genius that thought of this. This is what I liked best about learning about the Ancient Greece.
