Boldt Elementary School Counselors

Mrs. Anderson & Mrs. Garcia

What We Do...

Professional School Counselors in NISD utilize the Four Delivery Components to provide a comprehensive program. These include: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support. Through the Guidance Curriculum, students will be introduced to our problem solving strategies with Kelso the frog, emotional regulation techniques, growth mindset, conflict resolution and personal health and safety.

Connect With Mrs. Anderson

I work with K, 2nd, 4th, and 5th for guidance lessons and small groups. Both counselors will work with all students so that their needs are met.

Connect with Mrs. Garcia

This year, I am working with first and third grade students for guidance lessons, small groups and individual counseling. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Pillar of Trustworthiness Award

Congratulations to all of our winners who received the award for the Pillar of Trustworthiness. We are glad our little Mavericks are showing traits of leadership. Please enjoy the video below. Our last pillar will be the Pillar of Responsibility in May. We can't wait to see who our winners will be!

Military Kids Club Was A Success!

Our students got together one last time during Purple Up Day for Military Kids Club. They enjoyed spending time with one another and celebrating the friendships and connections made this year! What a great day it was!

May Guidance Lessons

Our guidance lessons concluded in the month of April. COVID played a disruption in our student's social-emotional well-being. We are glad that we were able to assist our Lobos in equipping them with problem-solving strategies, mindfulness techniques, confidence-building skills, and developing character traits to become good leaders. We hope our students enjoyed our lessons as much as we did. We saw them grow exponentially throughout the school year.

In April our 3-5 grade students learned the power of the FORCE to help them prepare for the STAAR test. We know it can be very stressful for our students but we hope that through these strategies our Mavericks feel confident and prepared to tackle the test. Please review these tips with your child at home.
