You laugh, you cry, and you
work harder than you ever
thought you could. Somedays
you're trying to change the
world and somedays you're just
trying to make it through the
day. Your wallet is empty, your
heart is full, and your mind is
packed with memories of kids
who have changed your life. Just
another day in the classroom.
Thanks for ALL the things that you do each day to make a difference in the lives of our students. We wouldn't be where we are without YOU and your commitment. I am truly grateful for each of you.

Teacher Support Center
Reminder This past year K12 reviewed all support channels for school staff and ways to improve the current online support experience. As part of a multi-year project focused on improving staff support, K12 released the Teacher Support Center. The Teacher Support Center is a central site for school staff to identify and link to all K12 departments support sites for hardware, software, platform, and course issues.
The Teacher Support Center can be accessed by visiting: http://teacherhelp.k12.com/. Bookmark the site. This new support site is intended for school-staff only. Students and families who need support should continue to visit http://help.k12.com and contact Customer Care directly at 1-866-512-2273

Hi LAVCA Family!
Please accept this as a reminder to make contact with the blended site POCs prior to a student arriving or participating in blended. Each blended site has a link assigned that you can share with parents that will assist them with communicating with the POCs regarding interest of attending the blended sites. Feel to share the link to the location nearest to the family's home! I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.

FAST Team
Pulse Check Surveys:
Each year, K12 sends out 7 Pulse Check Surveys. On October 16th, the third PC will be sent out. This survey is sent to get a “pulse” on how learning coaches are feeling about the year so far. We are required to follow-up with learning coaches who have low satisfaction rates. Learning coaches rate their satisfaction and leave open response feedback. Because this survey addresses the school day, school requirements, etc., you may be assigned to follow-up with a learning coach/student. If you are, you will receive very detailed instructions on how to note the follow-up. It’s very important that you follow the instructions and complete the feedback on time. (This can count as one of your weekly contacts.) It’s important for our school metrics, but it’s more important for our students and learning coaches. They have very valid reasons for needing feedback and it’s one simple way we can build relationships with our families. Follow-up will begin the week of October 23rd. If you are assigned to follow-up, I will email you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Welcome Rachel Resweber to the FAST Team
We are proud to announce that Rachel Resweber will be the new FASL for 6th and 7th grades. She has done an excellent job at Lafayette Blended, and we have no doubt that she will do an excellent job supporting our teachers and families in FAST.
Rachel will no longer be the Blended Coordinator for the Lafayette site; however, she will be the Point of Contact for Lafayette, which will now be run like the other sites.
Please join me in welcoming her to our team.
FAST/Teacher Collaboration Time
Please check the FAST Referral Smore for a list of current students each Monday morning. We have referring students who have not logged in for more than 5 days and for students who are missing more than 8 days of attendance.
