Math and Science from Ragley and Keeley
Even if you are not a tested grade, you are an integral part of building the foundational skills required for student success. Our projected Percentage of Students Making their Learning Gains in grades 3-5 is 84%. Let's keep the momentum going. KEEP IT COOL!
Just a reminder, ALL students need to complete a minimum of 45 minutes of iREADY MATH each week. Last week our percentage of Active Students meeting 45+ of Instruction was 25%.

STREAM Night
FOLLOW THE STREAM NIGHT
We want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all the staff members involved in making this night an INCREDIBLE success - Ms. Keeley, Ms. Ragley, Ms. Riddick, Ms. Fiori, Ms. Cisneros, Mr. Lee, Yvette, Mr. Trumble, Ms. Robinson, Ms. Henson, Ms. Cromie, Ms. Belford, Ms. Berwick, Henry, Ms. Lucarelli, Leida, and Ms. Rochon.
The night included dinner, reading, Ozobots, pop rocket art, space shuttle balloon paper challenge, and of course the sliming!! Both students and parents were actively involved and engaged at each station.
A message from Ms. Hearndon
It’s that time again to fill the bus to Umatilla, ELKS Florida Youth summer camp!! The local Elks are even supplying the bus, leaving from the local Elks club in Vero. This will be the third year we have gone together, yes I even ride up with them on the bus!!!! We can accommodate 45 students on the bus for week #2-- Sat June 18 to Sunday June 24th
CONTACT MS. HEARNDON ASAP TO RECOMMEND A STUDENT!!!
Ages 9-13, 1 week sleep away camp.
Please help homeless and very needy families, students who may never get this opportunity to go away to camp, sign up by MAY 2nd!!!

Relay for Life Updates from Ms. Segroves
Thank you to those who participated in the Relay For Life soup and salad lunch. There were so many delicious soups and salads! Your support is greatly appreciated! The next lunch will be Wednesday, March 29 (chili).

FDLRS will offer the NEFEC Online Gifted module: Theory & Development of Creativity, March 20, 2017 through May 14, 2017, free to all educators in our four county area. You may sign up to be considered for registration by clicking this link and completing the online form:

Participants will be selected and notified no later than March 1, 2017. Priority will be given to teachers of the gifted, and teachers out-of-field. Class size is limited to 25 participants. FDLRS Galaxy pays the tuition fee ($300) so completion of the module is required.
