New ELC2 Timetable

At the end of last term we said goodbye to Jennifer Kinson. We appreciate all the support she gave the year one students and we wish her the best in her future endeavours. Due to this change in support staff I have changed the ELC2 timetable to better suit the classroom structure. The new timetable will be displayed on the classroom door and sent home in the student's homework folders.

ANZAC Day Ceremony

Mr Brian Hafferden OAM member Inglewood and Mount Lawley RSL branch delivered a moving address to the school. The Anzac Day song, "We Will Remember Them" was written by Mrs Smith and performed by the 5/6 students. All children in ELC2 behaved beautifully throughout the ceremony.

Assembly Item - Bucket Filling!

Our Assembly will be next week in week 2. The date will be Friday May 1st from 8:35am. The theme of our item is taken from our health and well-being unit on becoming good Bucket Fillers! This week we learn the dance to go with our Bucket Fillers song. After some convincing my fiancé Michael agreed to record a private YouTube video to assist the students practise the dance at home. Please note that the students will need to move the same way as us (not mirroring). For example when I move to my right the students move to their right.

  • Costumes: we will be using the lower Primary costumes from school concerts as well as making items to wear. The students are encouraged to wear runners when performing. Any further details regarding costumes TBA
  • Procedure on Friday 1 March: the students arrive in ELC2 at 8:00am to ensure all students are ready, set up the stage and arrange a final run through.
