RECYCLED WASTE
Ever wondered what really happens to your reusable waste?
Where does this recyclable waste end up?
If these waste is fortuante enough , they would end up in a recycling depot. Unfortuanetly many human beings like us do not intend to think about the world in both negative and positive ways in how wasting reusable products can lead to pollution and many common dangers to our planet . When reusable products are thrown into normal garbage cans , they end up in landfills and more trees need to get cut down to make more paper etc.
DID YOU KNOW :
- Over 75% of waste is recyclable, but we only recycle about 30% of it.
- The average person generates over 4 pounds of trash every day and about 1.5 tons of solid waste per year.
-If every American recycled just one-tenth of their newspapers, we could save about 25 million trees each year
How can landfills effect our planet?
When waste cannot be recycled they are sent to the "landfill" where they are burried deep underground in the earth . Landfills are very disgusting and can be very harmful to our planet due to all the toxic and germy waste that is mixed with the earth's soil. The smell and mixture of different chemicals can be harmful to us to if we breathe it in .

Negative and Positive aspects of Recycling!
POSITIVE: If we reuse , reduce and recycle frequently , less trees will be cut down and less fuel will be required to be used in chain saws to cut down trees. Plant habitats will not be destroyed and many animals that make homes in trees will have a less chance of losing their home.
NEGATIVE: The recycling depots that help recycle these reusable products will require fuel to work up their trucks to bring the reusable waste to the depot then the machines inside the depot will also require fuel and so will the entire department will also require fuel . Using all this fuel will add onto pollution and will be harmful for us to breathe in and harmful to the Earth's atomosphere.
