Dear JMS & JSTEM Families,
As we move into the planning next school year with so many changes before us; we want you to know that we will always strive to do what is right for your child. I want our school community to work together to provide an educational environment that supports academics and social/emotional achievement. This will truly be a team effort that involves everyone's perspective because school will change. And although "traditional" school will look different and many things must be considered; we CAN do this and definitely be better as a result! As decisions about next school year unfold, we will keep you informed.
Recently a survey was sent to parents seeking your input about returning to school in the fall. That feedback is being used to help make the best decisions about the instructional setting for your child while still keeping health a priority. As we work together to make those decisions, we still need you to register your child through the on-line registration system. I have included that link below. Please take about 20 minutes to complete this registration. If you are in need of assistance; you can still go to the school on Wednesday, June 24; and Mrs. Briceno will assist you. You must wear a mask at all times when in the building.
School personnel will be off from June 18-July 6; however, you can reach me or any of the assistant principals throughout the summer; and e-mail is still the best form of communication as of now. You can access our email through our JMS or JSTEM websites, or reply to this email.

JMS Yearbook Delay
Due to the effects of COVID-19 to different parts of the country, materials and things needed to create the books were delayed in processing. Jostens will deliver the yearbooks, but a date is yet to be determined. The moment we have the yearbooks, you will be informed on when to pick them up. As of right now, I do not want to set a date and potentially have to change it again. If you are moving out of the city, please email firstname.lastname@example.org the following information:
- · Student name (so I can reference the purchase of the book)
- · Parent name (for the shipping label)
- · Shipping address
- · Date you will be at the new residence
