Help Support Kyla's Run for Team Nathan and Bennett
They were told by doctors that Nathan and Bennett Falcone are the sixth and seventh known individuals in the world diagnosed with Mandibuloacral Dysplasia Type B; a rare form of Progeria. There are no other known cases in the entire United States. Progeria is a premature aging disorder that results in many of the typical symptoms of aging and ultimately results in a shortened lifespan.
When I was told we had to choose a service piece for my Senior Project, I immediately recalled my Mom telling me about Phyllis Falcone, who she used to work with in the Salvation Army years ago. My Mom sent donations through the years to the Falcone Family's foundation, Fighting for Their Future, but I really wanted to attempt something that would make a big impact.
