Halloween Reminder
All parents, guardians, and relatives are welcome to come and watch the costume parade beginning at 2:20pm.
Costume Guidelines:
Children need to be able to see out of their masks. Otherwise, they will be asked to carry them or wear them backwards.
Make-up is not to be worn to school in the morning. Any make-up applied before the parade as a part of a costume must be something that the student can apply by themselves without assistance.
Weapons (swords, knives, guns, pikes, light sabers, etc.) are prohibited. They will be set aside by the staff and returned to the student at the end of the school day.
When choosing costumes for your child, please remember that this is a school parade. Costumes should be in keeping with our general dress code. Costumes that are suggestive, violent, or representative of topics inappropriate for a public school setting should be reserved for home use.

New Morning Procedure
We have one change in our morning procedure that we would like to bring to your attention.
Morning drop off between 8:30-8:45am will be limited to students eating breakfast only. Breakfast students who arrive between 8:30 and 8:45am will need to be walked to Door #9 to enter the gym. Breakfast will continue to be offered from 8:45 - 9am for any students who arrive during this time.
Drop-off for all other students will begin at 8:45am. Students who ride the bus and walk will enter through Door #4. Students who are dropped off by car will proceed through the drop-off line and enter through Door #2 and Door #10. These doors are not a change from last year. Please note that the only supervision between 8:30-8:45am will be in the cafeteria for breakfast students. Please do not have your child arrive prior to 8:45am unless they are here for breakfast.

Lost and Found
Dear Parents,
The school lost and found is located right outsdie my art room. It is already starting to fill with lost items. I often go through the lost and found and look for names so that I can return anything possible . PLEASE WRITE YOUR CHILD'S NAME INSIDE THEIR LUNCH BOX as well as jackets and sweatshirts. This will hlep get heir lost things back to them more quickly.
