* "I am the Emperor!' cried Harrison. 'Do you hear? I am the Emperor! Everybody must do what I say at once!' He stomped his foot and the studio shook. 'Even as I stand here' he bellowed, 'crippled, hobbled, sickened- I am a greater ruler than any man who ever lived! Now watch me become what I can become!''' (Vonnegut 3-4).
HARRISON
The conflict that Harrison faces is that the Handicap General hands him to put on all these appliances so he can be equal to the rest of the community. But Harrison does not want to be equal to everyone else, which causes him to rebel against the government.
Additionally, when Harrison does rebel against the government he ends up getting killed by the HG because he was not equal to everyone else and the ballerina was also killed along with Harrison.
