Hurricane Ike

The Innocent

Government Response

The government almost responded to Ike almost immediately trying to repair all of the homes that were lost and continue growing in the U.S towns and cities affected by Ike leaving several thousands of families homeless until the homes are rebuild.

The Efforts

People who are the minorities in the area were the last and slowest buildings to be rebuilt but during the buildings of other homes the families have been rebuilding themselves. At the time they were building more homes already with damages caused by Ike this will be a set back on economic growth with people homeless

Path and Destruction

Ike was Harmless to humans

Body Count

There were around 140 deaths overall but 86 were in the US compared to other events in the world this is a minor set back and a huge nose dive on taxes because some tax money estimated to be 3 million dollars to repair homes.
