Merry Christmas!! Happy New Year!!

Thanks to everyone that came to our Christmas program. All of us were thrilled at how many of our kids were able to participate. We hope you enjoyed our program-Mrs. Braswell does such an amazing job with our kids. We are so fortunate to have her with us! We hope you enjoyed hearing the 4th graders sing "Silent Night" in Choctaw. Thanks to Mrs. Underwood for teaching us how to pronounce the words correctly.

Our students have been working very hard to do well on their Study Island Benchmarks. It is very important that they do their best so they will be prepared for the big test in April. Many have reached their goals in AR by getting their points + 85% accuracy. This is important in helping them read fluently and with comprehension. Encourage your child to read over the break and every day. Reading should be something we all do daily. Letting your child see you read is a big indicator of how they view reading. Become a family that reads together. This is a favorite childhood memory of mine-all five of us reading at the same time! Needless to say, I continue to read for knowledge and pleasure still today.

Our Christmas parties were today. Thanks for all of the goodies you sent! Our children are so loved-you take such good care of us!

On Friday-we will be off to the show. Thank you to everyone that has sent extra money to help others. Our school has been very blessed this year thanks to kind-hearted people like all of you!

Please have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy our vacation that will start on Monday, December 21, 2015 and end on Monday, January 4, 2016. We will see you next year on Tuesday, January 5th! Stay safe-love on our kids-we love all of you very much!
