Have you ever wondered how the singer of the Foo Fighters became famous? Well, this is his story. Dave Grohl was born in January 14, 1969 in Warren, Ohio. A little bit after he was born, he moved to Springfield, Virginia and grew up there. He loved music so much at a young age he mad his first band at age ten. He also started playing guitar in his early teens.
Later, Dave was a drummer for a band called Freak Baby.
About one year later, he played drums for Mission Impossible. Then later that summer played drums for Dain Bramage. He chose music over school and dropped out of high school to play with the group Scream. He left Scream and auditioned for drummer of Nirvana. After his best friend, who was the singer, died he made the band Foo Fighters.
Dave Grohl is six feet tall, has very long hair, and a beard. He has a net worth of $260 million. His wife's name is Jordyn Blum. Dave has three children with her. He has gotten divorced once and didn’t have any kids with her. Right now he is still with the Foo Fighters.
